Kalamazoo Public Schools Honor Staff for Impacting Education
Kalamazoo, Mich. Dozens of Kalamazoo Public School employees were recognized for their exceptional work in education during a special ceremony held at Western Michigan University on Tuesday evening.
More than 25 faculty and staff members received the Kalamazoo Promise (You Make a Different Award) for their displays of creative and innovative service.
All recipients were awarded a plaque
The individuals were nominated by their colleagues from each school of KPS. The nominees were considered to be (making a difference in the lives of young people).
“Each of you made a difference by igniting curiosity, fostering resilience and insert a love of learning in our youth,” said Kalamazoo Proms Pathway Coach Brianna Wilson. The impact of your work cannot be measured by metrics, but by the confidence, aspirations and dreams that every child has.
